In the above video you will see me,  Nefer Maat, performing a manifestation ritual. In the name of affirmation and metaphysics, manifestation is the end result of the two. Believing is not the only way to manifest your reality, we have to think and feel the way we want to be and things we want to do. The movie “The Secret” let us in the door halfway to what manifesting your reality means, along with healthy diet and habits one can manifest anything they dream! Everyday I wake up, well 6 days out of the week I wake up and do Yoga. No matter how I feel whether it be happy or sad, I still manager to muster up courage and happiness and do YOGA. This pose in particular is one that I have always been afraid of or felt like I was not ready to attempt. In this video I attempt to stand in the pose from Asana Yoga.

The "Aroma Therapy" benefits of Lavender and Copal Amber

  Lavandula, genus and home to 47 known species of flowering plants from the mint family. As we like to refer to such herb as Lavender, Lavender is naturally cultivated in Eastern Africa and places like Cape Verde. Did you know, well maybe you didn't just as I had not known, that Lavender is useful as a natural, herbal, integrative medicine? Integrative is a term used in "Holistic Herbal Medicine" to describe a combination of healing practices that take account for the whole physical and metaphysical aspect of life. Lavender has a relaxing, calming affect when used during aromatherapy. In combination with Lavender herb I like to add copal to my cauldron. Copal is a resin substance that comes from tropical trees, Copal is Copalli in Nahuatli language meaning incense. Copal is often used as ceremonial incense for spiritual cleansing and opening of the soul. Mixing the two natural substances of nature allows for one to rid themselves of negative energy, anxiety and scattered energy.

The Chosen Ones are an up and coming non-profit organization. The CEO Nefer Maat has a knack for articulating the most intricate sounding information and making it pliable to ones every day life. The Chosen Ones goal is to help humanity better understand their purpose outside of what "Society" claims it to be. Nefer Maat has had much experience within her community and its surrounding areas. Her goal is to educate as many people as possible through peace, love and prosperity. If you are an individual looking to coordinate useful yet educational information into your life but do not know how, The Chosen Ones will be there to assist you. From recreation programs to community events, The Chosen Ones can provide a core-iculum "curriculum" for any and every purpose. 

          

CRYSTAL TALK: Amethyst "The Beginning"

Amethyst

     The Amethyst is a common crystal and its chemical makeup is Silicon and Oxygen which together makes up Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). What does this means, well the Amethyst is a combination of a alkaline earth metal and oxygen. Once it is birthed from the earth through geological features it is then considered to be Silicon Dioxide. This crystal in particular can be light to dark purple, sometimes mixed with citrine. The Amethyst crystal can appear in many different shapes and sizes. The Amethyst featured in the photograph above are transparent, sort of pointed Amethyst crystals, it can also come in the shape of a geode, cluster or single point. Creative Writing: The Chosen Ones

If you were to ask me my honest opinion about "Black History", I would tell you that yes it is important for the BLACK community to know and truthfully innerstand their history, just as everyone else should know their individual ethic history as well. At the end of the day black history is all history and vice versa, all history is black history. The importance of a peoples history does not mean this ethic group of people are more important than the others. I believe that we are all one people and that coming together under differences in ethic origin is what makes us great, each people and person that inhabit this earth have the ability to seek peace with history and build new horizons upon such findings in history. Black history to me  is very important because it allows me to have a sense of where I come from as a human being on this planet but does not prohibit me from learning about who I am spiritually, being that the physical part of me is just a portion, yet a mere representation of who "I AM"

I-R-I-S: Inside the Iris (Eye) and what are Melanocytes

Melanin Theory: "Eye Pigment" 

Pigment within the Iris is collectively responsible for a persons eye color. Where the pigment is more present within the Iris the eye will be darker. Now you may ask why is that? The Iris has two different layers structurally, the inner most layer is called the Iris pigment, this layer is also called epithelium (IPE) and consist of a compact array of opaque cells. The second layer is the outermost layer known as the (Iris Stroma), this layer contains more loosely arranged cells known as melanocytes that synthesis the pigment. Melanocyte is a mature melanin forming cell, this means that it is mature in its natural state and forms melanin in its state of existence.
